Joseph M. "Jette" Browne,
CFP®, founded Eagle Wealth Management,
Inc., in 2005 as a full-service wealth
planning and management firm located in
Jacksonville Beach, Florida. In 2011,
to assure long-term continuity for it
clients, Eagle Wealth Management, Inc. was
merged into Summit Wealth Management, Inc.,
a large, nationwide registered investment
advisory firm, headquartered in Atlanta,
Georgia.
Leveraging both his experience and
educational achievements, Jette has always
sought to help clients make "smart choices
for serious money" through a broad spectrum
of wealth management and planning
services. He founded Eagle Wealth as
an independent advisor, unencumbered by the
demand to meet the sales targets of a Wall
Street brokerage firm.
Prior to opening Eagle Wealth,
Jette was a member of Merrill Lynch's
private client group and then served as vice
president of investments for the Ponte Vedra
office of UBS/Paine Webber.
In addition to earning the
Certified Financial Planner (CFP®)
designation, Jette holds a Masters Degree in
Economics and Politics from the University
of Geneva, Switzerland, and successfully
completed the Advanced Management Program
from the Harvard Business School.
In 1992, Jette retired as a
Navy Captain after 31 years of service,
which included commanding two major warships
home-ported in Mayport, Florida. Upon
retiring from the Navy, he served as vice
president of operations for a high tech,
start-up company based in Massachusetts,
which he helped take public in 1993. Jette
lives in South Jacksonville Beach, Florida,
with his wife Nancy.
